This website for an emergency medical services and personnel training consultant integrated events management and booking, ecommerce (the plan was to have digital downloads of emergency medical training courses for sale), and a very attractive layout and branding. I designed the logo based on graphics provided by the client.
I was very excited to help a personal coaching business with an affordable WordPress website. Being a new business on a budget, she needed something that would grow with her and that she could modify fairly easily herself. To stay within budget, I created a custom color scheme to match her logo, the front page layout, and her “about” page layout. She is able to modify and create additional page layouts and add more content on her own.
GatewayParrotClub.org is one of the most drastic website redesigns that I have ever done. They wanted a website that was flexible towards future growth, with the ability to add more community features in the future, would emphasize their informative and fun events, and would help attract younger members.
Sharon of SharSomQuilts, also does long arm quilting and custom designs. Unlike her cousin, Shelley of Star-CrossedStitches, she started with no website at all.
For brand new sites like this for brand new small businesses, I use a framework and custom theme that are easily expandable and probably have more options than needed. This way the site can easily be changed as the business grows, and as more content is added.
I helped bring Shelley, the long arm quilter and custom embroider behind Star-CrossedStitches.com into the 20-teens! I connected Shelley with an affordable logo designer to help finesse the logo that she’d drawn by hand, and I created her a friendly crafty WordPress site to match!
Affton Christian Church went from a very simple HTML website that hadn’t been redesigned since the early 2000s, and they needed an updated look and more functionality.
KennahIT went from a very simple 1 page website, to a simple WordPress site. She’s previously gotten new business thru word of mouth only, but realized the need for a professional web-presence.
One of her biggest challenges of this project was creating written content for the additional pages on her new site. She sent over the wording to launch the site, and was glad that being on the WordPress platform will allow her to easily change and add content.
This is a bright, retro, website design that is a fully functional ecommerce site built on WordPress.
Ameristaffinc.net needed a website overhaul! I love redesigning websites for businesses; this was a great experience to work with the director of operations to create a new website that she could easily update herself. This redesigned website also matches the official company logo and branding considerably better than the previous design.
